Possibly due to the hurting which she has been exposed to by workforces denies her the privation for attending which is so forced upon her as she is raped. She is beaten. and stands strong although it seems that the lone ground she does so is due to the fact that she is “ the keeper / of generations” . “I am the giver of life / to whole tribes” . which could intend either that she. as an adult female is forced to reproduce kids of many workforces. or that she is the backbone of her community.

Either manner. this adult female faces the lowest of state of affairss and lives on in order to “carry the seeds… give them life…watch them grow…I learn them the vocals / I help them to hear / I give them truth” . This Indian adult female is a “mother” to all. she teaches them. and most significantly gives them truth so her “children” can populate free from such anguish.

The voice of this verse form is an obvious one ; an Indian adult female. However there are such minutes in this verse form where there is a connexion between the reader and the poet. Jeanette Armstrong manages to portray the general native Indian adult female. the victory which are faced. and the major ruins such as the workforces who raped. round and ridiculed her. The imagination of this verse form is it’s specifying characteristic. the internal construction allows readers to see life through the eyes of an Indian adult female and the voice shows the Indian woman’s unity and cognition.
